This June, in honor of June is Audiobook Month 2012, Robert Fass managed to produce thirty videos featuring audiobook professionals, including narrators, publishers, publishers, and others.
It was an impressive accomplishment, and I hope Robert rested after all the work he put in to highlight what dozens of members of the audiobook community are excited about.
I announced two projects in my video, the production of Rachel Corrie’s diary, Let Me Stand Alone, with Ed Asner, and a musical version of the Town Mouse and the Country Mouse. Watch the video below, but don’t stop with mine! Visit Robert’s youtube page to see what Jesse Eisenberg, or Scott Brick, or Katy Kellgren have to say about audiobooks! Everyone is excited about audiobooks!
Wow, just found this – thanks, Tavia.
Hopefully your readers won’t think the headline refers to my narrations! (Though I suppose I’ve been called worse.)
Best,
Robert
Ha! I never thought of that! I, too, have been called worse. The funniest comment ever? Perhaps, “She narrates like she’s reading a cookbook.” What does that even MEAN?
Hope you’re well, Robert!
PeepJanuary 27, 2011Hahaha, I laughed out loud at your Austen part. Haha. Though, I would pfreer to read a book before I’ve seen the movie, even though I know it will likely ruin the movie for me. One exception I had was Ella Enchanted. I saw the movie first and thought it was OK. Then, I read the book and LOVED it and couldn’t figure out why they totally messed up the movie!Oh, your comment just made me realize I HAVE read To Kill a Mockingbird and I have read that one, I can’t think of the name, but it’s an oldie. Maybe by JD Salinger? I remember reading it because I thought the guy on the cover looked like Matt Damon! So I AM a real reader!! This is cause for a celebration!
